We are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for animal care, possess high proficiency in their field, and show dedication to providing exceptional service to both our clients and their pets. Additionally, they should excel in collaborating with coworkers on cases and clinic flow to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Veterinary support: Support veterinarians during surgeries, examinations, and treatments, ensuring smooth operation and patient care.
  2. Perform Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and dental procedures to aid in diagnosing and treating animal ailments.
  3. Medication Administration: Administer medications as directed by veterinarians and monitor patients’ responses, ensuring their well-being throughout the recovery process.
  4. Client Education: Educate pet owners on proper pet care and wellness practices, offering guidance on nutrition, exercise, and preventative healthcare measures.
  5. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate medical records for each patient and ensure compliance with regulatory standards to uphold the highest standards of care.
  6. Training and Guidance: Provide training to veterinary assistants on proper techniques and procedures, ensuring they are equipped to assist effectively in various veterinary tasks.

Requirements:

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification
  • Proficiency in handling medical equipment and performing technical procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse team
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and providing compassionate care to animals
